Q:

I asked this before, but don't see any response. Who does the tattoo? I see this is a school and I'd rather not have students doing it.

A:

Sorry it took us so long to respond. Unfortunately there is no one staffed full time to just answer Groupon questions so we are trying to get to it as soon as possible. We handle these responses in between phone calls, prescreening/scheduling and servicing our clients. If you have further questtions after reading our previous response please feel free to call us directly at 608-577-6634.

Q:

How long after the tattoo eyeliner would I look "normal"? I have an appointment in Madison and want to get this done the day before. Will that work?

Lynn O.  asked on  Feb 13, 2013

A:

Most people look "normal" in 3-5 days...depending on what "normal" is to you. We have clients who leave here and go back to work and they are not concerned about a little swelling. We have other clients who get swollen way into their sinuses and look puffy for a couple days. Also, you will need to put ointment on for 5 days and cannot wear any other eye makeup. Unfortunately....we have no way of knowing if you are a person who has a lot of inflammation in their body until after the procedure. Always best to "not" plan around any major events if you are self conscious about it. The average person looks like they had a bad cry for a couple days.

Q:

I see this is a teaching academy. Is the tattooing done by the teachers? I don't want to have it done by students, sorry.

Lynn O.  asked on  Feb 12, 2013

A:

All procedures are performed by myself or one of my highly experienced instructors.

Q:

I have somewhere I have to be in Madison in about a month. If I get this done one day, will I be presentable the next day? I will see customers the next day, so don't want to look red or swollen. (upper eyes)

Lynn O.  asked on  Feb 12, 2013

A:

We highly suggest you "not" schedule a procedure around anything significant. Every person heals differently as there are many variables from person to person. Some people have more inflammation in their bodies, some people have more sensitive skin, sensitive eyes, etc. There is no way to know how your swelling will go. For the most part, the average person looks their worst the day "after" a procedure. The day the service is performed there will be some swelling/redness. We highly recommend icing throughout that day. After sleeping flat in bed all night the swelling usually settles in and is far worse the next morning. For most people the swelling goes down throughout the next day and by day 3 most people can't tell. However...you will be applying an aftercare ointment for 5 days and cannot wear any other eye makeup during that time frame.
