I'm considering the eyebrows. Does it hurt? Are chemicals and injections involved? How will it age, say, as hair goes gray or white? What are the downsides that people state? thanks. Heidi

Hi Heidi: We use the strongest topical anesthetics on the market that are available to us so most people are pleasantly surprised by the comfort level. However, with that being aid, everyone's pain tolerance is different and it is not "pain free". As I said, most people are very happy with the little amount of discomfort. There are no injections. Permanent makeup is "permanent" in the sense that you can't go home and wash it off but it does fade over time. You can graciously let it fade with you or you can get touch ups over the years. I think that is a big PLUS as that means you can change the colors and possibly go lighter if you should choose to do so as you age. I have yet to hear any downsides other than the after care which is that you need to apply an ointment and deal with puffy eyes for a few days. No downsides to getting the brows done that I've heard. Feel free to call our office at 577-6634 if you have further questions.
