Q:

Hello, In the fine print of the ad it says the there is an extra fee for master technician What does this mean? and how much is it? In your response to leah in the above question you said that all, " our technicians are all certified and experienced" so I don't understand why I have to pay extra for someone who is qualified. Thank you Marcia

Marcia B.  asked on  Feb 21, 2013

A:

Hi Marcia, All of our Lash Technicians are certified and qualified. A Master Technician has the highest level of training available and is also an educator. A Master Technician has more experience and therefore charges more. The fee is an extra $45 for new sets and $10 for fills :) Having said that, all current Glow Technicians have a minimum of one year of training, going as high as 3 years. Thanks for the question!

Q:

Should I be concerned with possible eye infections or irritations with this procedure? M

Monica M.  asked on  Feb 20, 2013

A:

Hi Monica, Our glue is Health Canada recognized, and formaldehyde and latex free. However, it is possible for a reaction, usually in those with allergies, but this is even rare. We follow all Health Canada regulations and use only hospital grade disinfectants to ensure proper cleanliness and safety :)

Q:

How long do the extensions last?

Janet R.  asked on  Feb 16, 2013

A:

Hi Janet, Extensions will last 4-6 weeks. To maintain them properly we suggest fills every 2-3 weeks to keep them full looking. Most guests return every 3 weeks for a fill. Each person is different and this is based on proper home care and maintenance :) Thanks and have a great day!

Q:

I purchased last time it was offered. ($99.99 for mink). What I received were not mink but acrylic. The value was supposedly $250.00. I expected a spa-like experience for the so-called value but received stripmall results. Very disappointed with product and service. No follow up at all which is what would be expected with any quality salon.

A:

Hi Leah, Thanks for your feedback! At Glow we only carry mink and silk lashes and guests are welcome to see the lashes we use prior to the service. Our prices were $250 last year and have since been decreased to stay current as the lash industry grows and becomes more competitive. In fact, our quality has probably even improved as we attend training regularly (mandatory at Glow) and we have expanded our lash and product selection to better serve you. Our glue was voted one of the best and our technicians are all certified and experienced to ensure a safe and quality application. We do follow up calls daily at random selection, and also track our rate of return clients to know how we are doing. We are sorry you feel this way and that you didn't completely enjoy your experience at Glow. It is rare we hear this but we welcome any feedback, good or bad, so we can improve as our team grows. Thanks again for your comments :)
