What You'll Get
Before being discovered by med spas, lasers were used exclusively for slicing turkeys during space Thanksgiving. Give thanks for lasers with today's Groupon: for $99, you get three laser hair-removal treatments on choice of one treatment area at Glow Rescue (up to a $525 value). Under the guidance of Shelley Rollick-Collins—a skincare therapist and medical aesthetician with more than 20 years of experience—the pelt professionals at Glow Rescue smooth skin with laser hair removal. After an initial consultation, technicians glide the medical-grade Palomar StarLux hand-piece over skin, pulsing light energy and 808 drum beats into follicles. The building heat loosens hairs while also disabling the stubborn cells responsible for growth. Sessions require no gels or anesthetics, and an integrated cooling mechanism minimizes discomfort.
Patients should avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning beds—Glow Rescue recommends covering treatment areas with SPF 30—as well as abstain from waxing, plucking, or bleaching for at least four weeks prior to each treatment. Skin may feel hot for up to 24 hours after each session, and hairs may take 7–30 days for the body to expel. Most patients require four–eight sessions spaced between four and eight weeks apart for optimal results, which varies based on treatment area, skin type, hair type, and number of sweaters worn during treatment. Treatments are effective on dark hairs, not on blond or grey hairs.

About Glow Luxe Skincare
For the skin care specialists at Glow Luxe Skincare, the key to avoiding cosmetic surgery is simply taking care of your skin. They take this task seriously, having created the Glow Rescue Advanced Skin RX product line, which eschews parabens, fragrances, alcohol, and fillers such as recycled-phonebook mulch. They wield these high-quality products during in-depth appointments, rejuvenating the appearances of their clients with bee venom facials, enzyme peels, and oxygen facials made popular by Madonna and Eva Longoria.
