Instructors teach The Figure Method, an exercise regimen that fuses ballet, yoga, Pilates, and orthopedic exercise to shape muscles through slow, sustained movements. The studio holds one-hour classes seven days a week.

About Go Figure
For Cindy Sites, the perfect workout method didn’t come in a neat little box. Through years of exercise trial and error, she found different elements that worked for her in disciplines ranging from yoga and Pilates to ballet. Rather than challenge people to train in many different workout styles, Cindy instead fused these elements into the neat little package she never received. The result is The Figure Method, which uses slow, sustained movements to tone and sculpt muscles. Soon she was ready to put her new system to the test, opening the first Go Figure studio to share her insights with the public.
All of the studios that use The Figure Method (there are 15, including the American Ballet Theater) stress a noncompetitive environment, with each session challenging students to achieve their personal best. When not stretching through mat work or limbering up along a ballet barre, classes rotate between simple body-weight-resistance exercises and the use of light hand weights to tone the shoulders or play core-boosting games of hot potato.
