We visited and immensely enjoyed our visit. There is a great deal of history packed into the quaint location. We enjoyed Mr. Moten's guided tour and learned about the Go-Go music's impact on the music and clothing industry in the 70s, 80s and 90s, and how the rhythmic Go-Go sound was the springboard for Hip-Hop music. The merchandise is also great. I highly recommend it.

So glad we did this!! 5⭐️s across the board. The Go-Go/Hip Hop relations are amazing. Its a great date spot. If you’re a resident its free. If not, a small fee of $15(?). If you grew up here (DC) oh the memories this museum will invoke 💗

I am so very proud of this museum it gives the vistors the whole background on how the DC Go-Go music started. It's a must visit for people from out of state, new people who now call the DMV area their home, and for people like myself who grew up listening to this wonderful music.
