What You'll Get
Though a chartered yacht is a comfortable way to tour the seas, it can only navigate city streets with the help of hundreds of unhappy pack goats. Tour San Francisco in terra firma style and comfort with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $29 for a one-hour twilight tour for one or two (a $59 value)
- $54 for a two-hour twilight tour for one or two (a $108 value)
One or two patrons climb into an open-topped two-seater such as the new fuel-efficient and quieter GoCar Sport at dusk and let the talking GPS system guide them toward views of breathtaking sunsets and other San Francisco sights. Along with shouldering the burden of navigation, the GPS also tells stories about the sights passing by in a choice of five languages. The tour begins with the historic Coit Tower at sunset then heads toward the Marina District and through Nob Hill, where cruisers can view cathedrals, classic architecture, and tourist hotspots before finishing the tour in the Embarcadero and down Lombard Street. The two-hour tour includes the extended loop around the Financial District and China Town. Patrons can begin the tour as early as 4:30 p.m., but GoCar Tours recommends departing between 5 and 6 p.m. for optimal views of the city at dusk. They're also welcome to park and travel off-course if time allows.

About GoCar Tours
Even before you climb inside, the GoCar is clearly a car with a personality. The petite, three-wheeled two-seater has a hood that slightly resembles an eager-to-please smiley face, and an open top that seems custom-made for letting the breeze ruffle your hair. Then the real fun begins: built with the company's own software and a compassion for the voiceless robots of America, a talking GPS system guides two-seater GoCars through the city streets of San Francisco, San Diego, Miami, Barcelona, Madrid, and Lisbon with cheerful, info-rich narration. Second only to having a knowledgeable local jog alongside your minivan, tours zip along at drivers' own pace and accommodate as many pit stops as time allows.
