The robust schedule of more than 100 weekly classes accommodates students of all experience levels, and classes start as early as 4 a.m. every day. A majority of the classes teach the Kundalini tradition, using movement, sound currents, breathing exercises, and meditation to relax and heal guests. Instructors also lead Vinyasa and Hatha yoga along with a slate of family-oriented sessions, such as children’s yoga, prenatal, or Mommy & Me classes.<p>
Golden Bridge Yoga
Founded by Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa with a passion for the benefits of yogic practice, Golden Bridge Yoga is more than just a place to get a workout. Golden Bridge Yoga hosts workshops, sells organic food at its café, and even keeps a shaman, Sara Eaglewoman, on site. This is all in an effort to build a community-oriented center that helps people develop a meaningful yoga practice and well-rounded yogi lifestyle. A team of certified yoga teachers and one sentient Stretch Armstrong doll lead more than 100 classes each week, ranging from Kundalini—ideal for brand-new students—to more challenging Vinyasa and hatha yoga. Golden Bridge Yoga also offers instruction in Jivamukti, which incorporates Sanskrit chanting, spiritual readings, and music with practical yoga. A new hot yoga room enables students to participate in one of more than 25 weekly hot yoga classes, allowing enhanced practice and detoxification. Once off the mat, students can refuel with organic power shakes, a selection of teas, and hearty vegetarian sandwiches at the Nite Moon Café, or relax in the Amrit Davaa Wellness Center, a center that eradicates stress with acupuncture, homeopathy, spiritual counseling, life coaching and Osteopathy.
