Boat captains must master nautical lexicon before sailing the seas to ensure that they can distinguish port, which means left, from starboard, which means launch the vessel into deep space. Count down to a sea launch with this Groupon.
Choose from Three Options
- $190 for a four-hour 18-foot-powerboat rental (a $390 value)
- $350 for a four-hour 22-foot-powerboat rental (a $700 value)
- $750 for a two-hour sunset cruise on a 43-foot Marquis yacht for up to six people (a $1,500 value)
Up to four passengers set out aboard an 18-foot Glastron MX, a powerboat designed with an SSV hull, propelled by outboard power. Alternatively, up to eight crew members can occupy a 22-foot powerboat, and find seats at the fore and aft while being propelled through the water by a 5-liter MerCruiser MPI engine. Futuristic styling splashes every inch of the roomy, fully-fueled Marquis yacht, which treats groups of up to six to a retractable sunroof, gleaming glass doors, and an extended teak swim platform. The yacht is fully staffed with a captain at the helm and a helpful crew on deck serving complimentary water and soft drinks.
For the rental options, each group's driver must be at least 23 years old, and groups must leave a $1,000 safety deposit or hire a driver for $35 per hour.
Golden Yacht Charters
White sand dunes crowned with tufts of grass. Shorelines overflowing with native plants and coastal trees. Clear cerulean waters stretching out onto the horizon, reflecting the undulating landscape of the Miami skyline. At Golden Yacht Charters, captains lead visitors into these scenic waters on boat tours while staffers rent out a fleet of powerboats to customers who want to experience owning a yacht without having to maintain it or parallel park it at the end of each day.
Captains and passengers embark on sunset or nighttime cruises along Miami's downtown and bayside coasts; daytime voyages to private spots such as Palm Island, Star Island, and Fisher Island; and trips to see the lighthouse at Cape Florida. Captains also helm tours past locales such as The Miami Herald, Freedom Tower, Rickenbacker Causeway, and Port of Miami. Guests can explore these same waters at their own pace aboard Tahoe, Sylvan, Hurricane, and Sea Ray powerboats, crafts up to 26 feet and outfitted with plush aft seating and insulated coolers. Staffers also rent fishing boats, catamarans, and luxury speedboats.
