Acoustic Asylum is what happens when you take some of LA’s best recording and touring musicians and turn them loose in an organic setting, led by Dan Radlauer (Accordion), and featuring Carl Verheyen (Guitar), Mark Hollingsworth (Clarinet and Baritone Saxophone), Dave Marotta (Bass), Gordon Peeke (Drums), Megan Shung (Violin) Dan Radlauer (Accordion, Vocals, Producer) is an award winning composer for TV, Film and Commercials. His compositions have been heard on every Network and inhabited continent. The idea for Acoustic Asylum came after working in the studio with these amazing musicians on film and TV scores and hearing them play with mastery in so many styles. He wanted to create a project that got these great studio and touring musicians in their pure form. A setting where their talents could shine through without studio tricks or other distractions (all the tracks are recorded “en masse” in the studio with a minimum of overdubs). Like these great musicians, Dan works in many genres and therefore draws on many influences for the music of Acoustic Asylum.Additional Information:

Will Geer’s Theatricum Botanicum is an outdoor space terraced into the hillside of the rustic canyon. Audience members are advised to dress casually and bring cushions for bench seating. Refreshments are available at the venue, and picnickers are welcome before the performances.
