Celebrate Carnaval in true Brazilian style, straight from the streets of Rio, with live samba bands, drummers, a DJ and dancers festooned in beads, feathers and very little else at R6 Sports Bar and Club in Houston. This colorful Houston-based bash celebrates its 11th anniversary with the driving rhythms of the Samba School Drums and special guests The Houston Batucada Ensemble led by percussionist & DJ Cassio Duarte, Elly Brasil H, Thalia Stroud, the spectacular Soul Leon Dancers, plus DJ Rapha Moreno and live percussionists. The ambience will include glowing decorations in honor of this year's theme, "Glow." You're invited to wear colors that represent your country, as you watch live video feed of Rio's celebrations on giant TV screens. Traditional dishes and drinks will be available for purchase, including the caipirinha, of course.
