Known as the “Sergeant of Comedy,” Tony Roberts spent 10 years in the Army before embarking on a career in stand-up. He’s been seen on his own Showtime comedy special, Wired!, and on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, BET’s ComicView, as well as the syndicated hits Showtime at the Apollo and Mr. Box Office. When he’s not cracking audiences up across the nation and beyond, Roberts has also appeared in a number of films and toured the country with the stage plays If These Hips Could Talk and Ain’t Nothing Like Family.
