Considered one of the greatest concert films ever made -- after all, it was directed by Martin Scorsese and starred The Band -- The Last Waltz comes to life as a benefit concert at City Winery Nashville. Six local artists, including Grant-Lee Phillips, Cory Branan, Nicole Atkins, Christian Lopez, Black Diamond and Sarah Potenza put their own signature stamps on songs from the original soundtrack for the movie, along with the tribute band The Last Waltz Ensemble. The film, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary, captures The Band's final concert in 1976, at which they were joined by all-stars like Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Neil Young, Van Morrison and Joni Mitchell for favorites like "The Weight," "Up On Cripple Creek," and "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down."
