What You'll Get
A huge hit when it debuted at the New York Fringe Festival, Silence! The Musical went on to enjoy several successful New York runs, and it now makes its Chicago premiere at The Cornservatory. Created by Jon and Al Kaplan (music and lyrics) and Hunter Bell (book) as a parody of the 1991 Academy Award-winning thriller The Silence of the Lambs, this outrageously over-the-top and ridiculously raunchy spoof features Clarice, Hannibal, Buffalo Bill and a singing chorus of tap-dancing lambs delivering vulgar songs and rapid-fire one-liners. The hilarity of this Corn Productions show is positively going to slay you. Cornservatory shows are BYOB, so you can bring a nice chianti to have with your fava beans.
