Cap off a day of enjoying leftovers and/or Black Friday shopping and/or football with a special post-Thanksgiving concert by the New York Philharmonic. Dashing Danish-Israeli violinist, conductor and award-winning recording artist Nikolaj Znaider joins the orchestra at David Geffen Hall to play Beethoven's Violin Concerto. You'll also hear Dvorak's Symphony No. 8 under the skilled baton of conductor Ivan Fischer. Drawing on the Bohemian folk music that he loved, the Czech composer created an idyllic look at pastoral life, complete with his famed "bird call" flute melodies, that's perfect for a fall celebration.
The concert runs one hour and 45 minutes with intermission.
