Supplemented by scratch-and-sniff cards, projected images and even a tasting, Boston Choral Ensemble's Kaleidoscope: Changes in Pattern and Color offers a veritable feast of sensory delights through an evocative selection of great music. You'll experience sight, smell and sound-influenced works by composers like Britten, Whitacre and Esenvalds, along with one of Olivier Messiaen's surreal Rechants, accompanied by striking images of artwork by Marc Chagall, and much more. Artistic Director Andrew Shenton leads this 40-member mixed choir through this innovative program at First Church in Cambridge.
