The concert features repertoire for string orchestra by Bach, Mozart, Grieg and Sibelius, along with the World Premiere of composer-in-residence Hampson Sisler's Millennials' Tribute to Strings and the New York premiere of cellist Takeichiro Hirai's Rhapsody on Japanese Folktunes. Violin prodigies Fiona and Hina Khuong-Huu, ages 10 and 12, will join the orchestra for Bach's Double Concerto.
