Experience an enchanting night of Celtic music and dance in honor of the holiday season at Brian O'Donovan's annual A Christmas Celtic Sojourn at Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts in Worcester. This year's 13th annual show promises to be as spectacular as ever, with American Irish music pioneers Solas, the extraordinary Nordic Fiddlers Bloc and the return of harpist-singer Maeve Gilchrist and cellist Natalie Haas. Also set to appear is Dervish lead woman Cathy Jordan, who has one of the purest traditional voices today, as well as dance director Cara Butler, who recently choreographed A Celtic Sojourn at The Boston Pops, award-winning English stepdancer Declan McHale and the young dancers from the Harney Academy of Irish Dance in Walpole. O'Donovan, the host of WGBH's national radio program, has been at the helm of this live show since 2003, and he promises some surprises for this latest version as well. The tickets identified in this promotion are made available through Goldstar.
