The architect of some of the most stirring film music of recent memory, composer Howard Shore has had a long and storied career of creating aural magic. The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra celebrates his outstanding achievements with The Film Music of Howard Shore, a special concert featuring Shore himself as a special guest. The orchestra will play selections from his The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies as well as music from The Aviator, Hugo, The Silence of the Lambs and more. In addition, acclaimed film writer Jon Burlingame will interview Shore about his work. It's a night that film buffs and music fans will love!
