What You'll Get
"A Gest of Robyn Hode," a jaunty ballad written in Middle English around 1450, is among the oldest surviving tales of the legendary folk hero we now know as Robin Hood. Inspired by this and other 15th century ballads, Illusion Theater's The Gest of Robin Hood offers a new take on the adventures of the green-clad heroic outlaw, complete with original music by David Darrow. Cheer along as the sprightly archer robs from the rich and gives to the poor alongside his band of Merry Men at this swashbuckling new play presented at Illusion Theater in Minneapolis.
