Many of her hit songs are interlaced with salty, often humorous reminiscences, creating a riveting portrait of a blues and jazz legend and her music. This production of Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill is part of an unprecedented collaboration between the DCPA and Vintage Theatre, and will star the first lady of Denver, Mary Louise Lee, as Billie Holiday.
