What You'll Get
The 2017 Laguna Beach Music Festival starts off with a bang at this opening solo cello concert by artistic director Johannes Moser. Gramophone Magazine called Moser "one of the finest among the astonishing gallery of young virtuoso cellists," and in 2014 he was awarded the prestigious Brahms Prize. Moser blends old with new in this performance, playing Bach's moving Cello Suite No. 4 followed by the world premiere of Stellar Remnants, a new work for cello and electronics by New York-based composer Ellen Reid. Presented by the Philharmonic Society, this concert at the Laguna Playhouse concludes with Hindemith's Sonata for Solo Cello. The tickets identified in this promotion are made available through Goldstar.
