A poignant and heartfelt tale of new beginnings, Ferdinand draws inspiration from the classic children's book The Story of Ferdinand by Munro Leaf. The one-man play follows Tom, a hard-working single father trying to cope with life's struggles while raising his son in a world of conflicting messages and parental dilemmas. Tom tries to teach empathy and kindness to his son, while society pushes men to fight. You'll experience the joys and all the heartbreaks of parenthood in this 50-minute production, the inaugural show at Landless Theatre's brand new East Street Arts Center in Frederick, Maryland.
