The Marx Brothers, Monty Python and The Graduate make for a blockbuster lineup, as Palo Alto Players' 86th (!) season, From Stage to Screen and Back Again, provides the perfect mix of raucous comedy and romance. First up is A Day in Hollywood / A Night in the Ukraine, a double bill of one-act musicals celebrating Old Hollywood. The first is a musical revue set in the iconic Grauman's Chinese Theatre, while the second brings the madcap trio of Groucho, Harpo and Chico back to the stage in the best Marx Brothers movie that never was. Then there's the smash Broadway hit Monty Python's Spamalot, the Tony Award-winning musical comedy "lovingly ripped off" from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. And this special three-show "laugh pack" builds to a climax with the stage adaptation of the classic story of seduction, The Graduate, which finds a young man tempted into an affair by the wife of his father's business partner, otherwise known as the famed Mrs. Robinson. The tickets identified in this promotion are made available through Goldstar.
