Set in 13th-century Cordoba, Spain, a new Christian king takes the throne after more than 500 years of Islamic rule, and his very first sip of the city's water turns him violently ill. Accusations and mistrust spread -- as does the sickness -- especially after the entire water supply is thought to be poisoned. What was once a peaceful co-existence between the region's Christians, Jews and Muslims threatens to boil over into conflict, until a trio of teens of different faiths come together to solve the mystery.
