Whether you're hearing a stunning string quartet from Beethoven, reinvigorated Italian melodies from Respighi or an ebullient sinfonietta from Britten, you can catch live renditions of some of the greatest classical works of all time at Symphony Nova's semi-annual concerts. Comprised of the most talented music school graduates in Boston, Symphony Nova performs pieces that appeal to music fans who already love classical music as well as those who are new to the genre. Concerts are held at the beautiful Old South Church in Copley Square and led by music director Lawrence Isaacson, a vibrant presence in the classical music world known for inspiring audiences with exciting, interactive and creative concerts.
