What You'll Get

A dozen musicians from the Seattle new-music collective known as Inverted Space Ensemble perform at PONCHO Concert Hall as part of their residency at Cornish College of the Arts. This season-opening appearance is set to spotlight works by jazz musician and avant-garde composer Anthony Braxton (Compositions No. 245 & 228) and Morton Feldman (The Possibility of a New Work for Electric Guitar). Feldman's piece, written and performed by Christian Wolff in 1966, existed as only a single copy, which was stolen out of Wolff's car and believed to be lost forever, before a recording of it turned up in a radio archive in 2007.
