What You'll Get

This Halloween, forget the tricks and treat yourself to a special screening of the 1922 silent film Nosferatu accompanied by Valencia Symphony Orchestra in its exciting debut performance. F.W. Murnau reinvents the story of Dracula as a silent German Expressionist fable, and the result is one of the greatest horror films ever made. Max Schreck is astonishingly creepy as the infamous vampire, and Murnau's frames ooze eerie atmosphere in this hugely influential tale. This performance features the West Coast premiere of the full-length orchestral score written by the composers of the Berklee Silent Film Orchestra, under the direction of the acclaimed film composer and professor Sheldon Mirowitz.
