Experience the scenic beauty of San Diego (and put in your cardio for the day) at the 39th annual Scripps Ranch Fourth of July Bike Ride. Grab your bike, your helmet and your sense of adventure as you choose between a 28-mile ride -- a beautiful course through Rancho Penasquitos, Santaluz, Del Sur, Rancho Bernardo and Poway that's perfect for weekend riders -- or 50-mile ride, a gorgeous (but grueling) course designed for serious riders who are in great condition. And since this is Independence Day, the ride ends with a party in Hoyt Park featuring a complimentary Ballast Point craft beer garden. All registered participants will also receive a commemorative T-shirt, and there'll be fun post-ride drawings for prizes donated by local businesses.
