What You'll Get
Sound of Late's contemporary classical concerts feature exhilarating performances and lively conversations with the musicians. Their latest concert at the Good Shepherd Center in Seattle is inspired by the writing of James Joyce, and ranges from Arvo Pärt's mystical minimalism and Ruth Crawford Seeger's angular music to the world premiere of American composer Alan Shockley's Book of the Dark, commissioned by and composed for the ensemble. Gather your friends, grab an included drink and wander through a landscape of sound that feels at once wildly fresh and invitingly familiar.
