What You'll Get
Multitalented multi-instrumentalist Gonzalo Grau, who also happens to be a Berklee-educated composer, arranger, producer and bandleader, brings his ensemble Plural to New York's Subrosa for a CD release party. Described as a "Latin jazz-flamenco-Venezuelan fusion" group, featuring both vocals and instrumentals, Plural is the latest project for Grau, whose flourishing career has taken him from classical to pop to jazz and back again. He's composed works for the Atlanta and Chicago Symphonies as well as for the famed piano-playing Labeque sisters, and both of his parents are classical-music stars in his home country of Venezuela.
