Summer is quickly drawing to a close as the kids prepare to head back to school. This double-feature movie event will put the sparkle back in their smiles, though. Head to Shoreline Community College Theater, where you can watch both The Incredibles and Space Jam -- and anyone coming in a movie-themed costume will get a coupon for a free small popcorn! In Pixar's animated film The Incredibles, married superheroes Mr. Incredible (Craig T. Nelson) and Elastigirl (Holly Hunter) are forced to adopt boring suburban lives as Bob and Helen Parr after all super-powered activities have been banned. Bob loves his wife and kids but longs to return to a life of adventure -- and he gets his chance when a mysterious communication summons him to a remote island for a top-secret assignment. Soon, Mr. Incredible is in big trouble, and only his family can save him. In the 1996 live-action/animated sports comedy Space Jam, Danny DeVito plays an evil alien theme park owner seeking a new attraction. He sends his gang, the Nerdlucks, to Earth to kidnap Bugs Bunny (Billy West) and the Looney Tunes, but Bugs challenges them to a basketball game to determine their fate. The aliens agree, stealing the powers of NBA basketball players Larry Bird and Charles Barkley. The Looney Tunes in turn seek the aid of retired champion Michael Jordan.

Movie-themed costumes are encouraged. Costumed guests will receive a coupon for a free small popcorn at the door. Real or toy weapons or pyrotechnics are NOT permitted on campus. Offensive costuming, nudity, and costumes representative of uniformed authority are strictly prohibited. The College reserves the right to ask guests to remove any offensive costumes or props. Costumes that are excessive in size or height may not be allowed if they obstruct the view of the other guests.
