The latest electric program by the exceptionally talented Las Vegas Philharmonic kicks off with Clarice Assad's Nhanderú, a musical portrait of an Amazon basin ritual that focuses on faith, prayer and gratitude. Next up is the world premiere of Nathaniel Stookey's orchestral version of YTTE (Yield to Total Elation), inspired by the story of A.G. Rizzoli -- a humble draftsman who created elaborate designs for an expansive imaginary city. And one of conductor Donato Cabrera's favorite pieces, Antonin Dvorák's Symphony No. 7, is the centerpiece for the second half of this celebratory concert presented at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. Known for its dramatic expression and brooding atmosphere, this is perhaps one of Dvorák's most personal and self-explorative works. The tickets identified in this promotion are made available through Goldstar.
