What You'll Get
Catch three historical plays at one truly historic venue as History Lit returns to the expansive grounds of the Pasadena Museum of History. This totally unique theatrical experience from the creators of the popular show Wicked Lit immerses participants in history with three fully-produced short plays set in three unique areas within the museum: the intimate Curtin House, the lush gardens that surround Fenyes Mansion and smack-dab inside the exhibit "Flying Horses and Mythical Beasts: The Magical World of Carousels." This year's plays are The Garden Party, based the short story by Katherine Mansfield, Two Pictures in One, adapted from "The Two Altars" by Harriet Beecher Stowe, and The Girl Who Owned a Bear, a comedy of manners by beloved The Wizard of Oz author L. Frank Baum.
This production is recommended for children 10 or older.
