Most improv comedy isn't entirely formless. The actors might have absolutely no idea beforehand what theme they'll be playing out on stage, but once they get going, there are patterns and games to help guide them along the way. One of the most popular forms is called the Harold. Created by improv legend Del Close in the 1960s, the Harold has become the signature form of Chicago's iO Theater, as well as Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York and Los Angeles. This trademark structure of games and beats will help guide Seattle's own Improv Anonymous when they perform the form at Unexpected Productions' Market Theater. But don't get too distracted by the method. Madness is still the most important part of any improv show.

The tickets identified in this promotion are made available through Goldstar. Groupon is not affiliated with or sponsored by Unexpected Productions’ Market Theater in connection with this deal.
