'Tis the season for a whole lot of abnormal holiday catastrophe in this production of Christmas magic and cheer. When you throw together a batch of fruitcakes, three dozen Christmas trees, a chicken pox epidemic and a lost cat named Tutti Frutti, you only begin to comprehend the madness that unfolds in Fruitcakes. Luckily enough, runaway Jamie has found himself in the whimsical little town encompassing this madness. Although the kid initially thinks the townsfolk are "nuttier than fruitcakes," he soon finds understanding and reconciliation, showing audiences what those good old-fashioned Christmas values are all about.
