Violinist Christian Tetzlaff, the New Yorker once noted, can produce "a violin color that other musicians didn't know existed." In other words, his violin can do things that no other violin (or violinist) can replicate. In his supremely capable hands, an old standby becomes a much more versatile, adventurous and dangerous instrument. Experience's Tetzlaff's unique gift firsthand when he makes his first-ever recital appearance in Houston. For his appearance at the Wortham Theater Center, Tetzlaff will be joined by pianist Lars Vogt, and play selections from Beethoven, Barton, Mozart and Schubert.
