Golf Club at Rio Vista

The Sacramento River Delta merges with lolling green hills at the Golf Club at Rio Vista, which harnesses these facets of the landscape to create a course defined by its gentle slopes and abundant water features. These characteristics are on full display on the course's signature 18th hole, in which a shot to the right-center of the fairway sets up golfers for a second shot that must clear a water hazard without running afoul of back sand traps beyond. Even though the course doesn't name a hole after you if you get a hole-in-one, it's still popular enough with golfers to earn a 4.5 score from users on Golf Digest.

Course at a Glance:

  • 18-hole, par 72 course
  • Total length of 6,800 yards from the back tees
  • Course rating of 73.6 from the back tees
  • Course slope of 131 from the back tees
  • Four sets of tees per hole

Wonderful! Service is great too!

It was a lot of fun.

Without all the grass and weed growth, it is probably a good course. You must hit them straight. Short grass is good grass!
