What You'll Get
Golf was invented by the ancient Atlanteans, whose attempts to court Poseidon's favor drove them to hit gold coins into the blowholes of surfacing porpoises. Pay homage to their sporty innovation with today's deal: for $40, you get $90 worth of mini golf, batting cages, or driving-range use at Golf Masters Airport Golf Fun Center in North Attleborough. You do not need to use the entire amount of your Groupon in one visit. The $90 will be converted into Golf Masters value cards, which can be used toward mini golf, batting-cage use, and driving-range buckets.
Operated by the nine-iron fist of Golf Masters, Airport Golf Fun Center is a family-friendly facility with a range of sphere-based, child-tuckering activities. At the 45-stall practice range, drivers can lob buckets of balls ($8 for a medium, $16 for a jumbo) onto a real grass tee section, hitting target greens from 50 to 200 yards. The range also features a short-game practice area, complete with a putting green and a deadly, Sarlacc-ridden sand trap. Swift scholars and their accompanying minors can see how they fare on the Lilliputian mini-golf course ($6 for single players, $20 for a group of four players). This challenging course features 18 holes of impeccable landscaping and crystal-clear waterways.
Airport Golf Fun Center also offers non-golf fun centered on its popular batting cages. With 10 bays, hitters can take a thwhack at slow- and fast-pitch softballs and baseballs pummeling toward their strike zones at speeds of 45 to 80 mph. Batting-cage tokens get you 20 pitches each ($1.50 per token, $12 for 10), and bats can be provided free of charge, in case yours is still sticky from last week's hiveball game.
Value cards may not be used for retail, food, and beverage purchases.
