Boston-based fiddler Katie McNally has deep roots in roots music. She first appeared at the legendary folk venue Club Passim at the tender age of 13, soon after discovering her love of – and talent for – the Scotch-Celtic genre. She also returned to the club in 2013 to debut her first album, Flourish, to a sold-out crowd. McNally’s won several Scottish fiddle competitions, studied in Glasgow and performs as part of several acclaimed area ensembles. She’ll perform an intimate show at Gore Place in Waltham, with vocalist and pianist Neil Pearlman.
