Dancing is a form of artistic expression dating from prehistory, much like singing, competitive baking, and hand-traced turkey painting. Get in touch with your creative roots with this rhythmic Groupon: today, $23 gets you four dance classes at Gotta Dance Atlanta (a $47 value). Shake a tail feather with any one of Gotta Dance's accomplished instructors, all of whom are professionally trained.

Choose from Gotta Dance's six sassy dance and fitness classes: Miami Bounce, Art of Seduction, Art of Femininity, Strictly Stiletto, Ms. Stiletto, and GO-GO Cardio Stiletto. Each of the stiletto classes combines high-energy dance workouts with gravity-defying heels (be sure to bring your own high heels) to sculpt sexy calf muscles while you sweat and swagger. In Miami Bounce, you'll learn to shake your booty independently from the rest of your body, burning calories and turning up the heat. The Art of Femininity is a hip-hop dance class that explores the strength, power, and beauty of women, whereas Art of Seduction teaches you to slow jam your way to sensual confidence with smooth, sultry moves. Classes are ongoing, with the routines changing constantly, so mix and match your classes or stick with one for all four sessions. If you can't decide, go ahead and observe a class before taking it. Pretty soon, you’ll all be hired to perform at dance-centric celebrations, such as debutante balls, weddings, and Flag Day. Check out the online schedule to see when classes are.

Located at 1778 Ellsworth Industrial Drive, Gotta Dance's 9,000-square-foot facility has four large dance studios and a lounge space with free WiFi, a plasma television, and a beverage area, great for relaxing those stiletto-stimulated muscle groups. Buy an extra Groupon or two and take your friends, forming the core of your future dance-powered accounting firm.

Must complete all four classes within three months of first class.

Gotta Dance Atlanta

The sounds of jazz, hip hop, and other contemporary genres fill the studios at Gotta Dance Atlanta's 9,000-square-foot facility. Instructors describe the dance and fitness center as a "home away from home" for dancers of all abilities, and it's not hard to see why. Beginners can learn how to cut a rug or mow a hardwood floor in beginner classes that require no prior knowledge of dance terminology. Even dancers who have already worked up to the professional level can find a class to match their style, be it salsa or ballet. Students of all abilities benefit from classes such as Awesome Abs and Cardio Hip-Hop, which use dance as a jumping-off point for fitness workouts that tone and shape the body.

Great way to exercise! Would recommend. Don't be intimidated by the pace, just dance!
Lacey R. · April 11, 2016
If you don't have dance experience or you're a tad on the rusty side, I definitely recommend taking the beginner class! It's an absolutely fun way to switch up the routine, but it's not something I would rely on as a primary option for my fitness goals. I always find myself looking at dance options when I want to add some spice, so I'd definitely recommend it!
