Goya Foods’ Swine & Wine
- Eat: Pro pig roasters use their top-secret spice blends to make dazzling dishes out of all-natural, farm-raised pork. In the ballroom of the historic Biltmore Hotel, attendees get to taste a variety of pig-centric tapas. Outside, chefs serve tender morsels of meat straight from slow-roasting whole pigs. Side dishes are provided by Fernando Desa, executive chef for Goya Foods, and Doreen Colondres, spokeswoman for the National Pork Board.
- Drink and Dance: Accompanying the pork are themed wines and cocktails from the esteemed mixologists of Southern Wine & Spirits of Florida. Meanwhile, Grammy Award-winning band Marlow Rosado & The Tuca provide live music.
- Vote: This event is a competition, with each chef vying for the People’s Choice Award in the categories of tapas and whole pigs.
