Good people. The person serving was kind and caring. The food was okay. We liked Nepali Chowmein. The spinach paneer was creamier than we wanted. Nan was different than normal and can be made slightly thinner. Dal given initially (for free) was heaven. Thanks.

Enjoyed the generous sized Samosa appetizers, the special of the month with many vegetables, and attentive service

We visited the restaurant and they seemed busy and understaffed. We began with the pakora and it was kinda bland. I prefer the pakora at Mount Everest. Then we ordered the coconut chicken which was flavorful. I noticed that they didn't have aloo bhenta torkari- (eggplant with potatoes)- so I requested it and they were kind enough to try and make it for me- it was okay- I wouldn't order it again. But, the highlights were the coconut chicken, garlic naan and mango lassi- yum. The server was very kind and apologized about the wait and delay due to it being busy.

About Himalayan Flavors

The chefs of Himalayan Flavors replicate the Nepalese and Indian flavors of the mountains for which their restaurant is named and serve them at a more comfortable altitude inside the saffron-colored dining room. They denote the spiciness of their dishes with one to three chili peppers, with one pegging a mild, tame flavor and three peppers signaling that you shouldn’t whistle in an ice sculpture’s ear. The staff pairs steaming plates of lamb vindaloo, chicken tikka masala, and shrimp korma with brown or basmati rice and a cup of complimentary lentil soup. To calm down the spicy tones of meals, the kitchen team pours glasses of mango lassi and dishes out syrupy bites of fried gulab jamun.
