About 40 miles upriver from its sister restaurant, St. Louis's award-winning Broadway Oyster Bar, Grafton Oyster Bar is similarly perched just off the Mississippi River, giving its sizable outdoor patio idyllic views. Just like Broadway, Grafton serves up Cajun- and creole-inspired dishes like crawfish étouffée, Louisiana fried alligator, and fried shrimp with housemade gin cocktail sauce. The oyster-bar menu boasts generous portions of surf-and-turf specialties, plus freshly shucked bivalves of the raw variety paired with horseradish, creole spices, or garlic butter.
