Q:

hi wanna find out what activities to do and see exactly there, it doesnt specify on website, is there lake, creek or river? or animals seen there, viewing for children, or mostly hikes?thnx

marjorie d.  asked on  Jul 24, 2012

A:

Hi Marjorie, There are a lot of hikes, but you will have access to the shuttle system at Zion so you can get to all of the major points without hiking or walking far (plus the drive is scenic in itself). Aside from viewpoints, the shuttle stops at the visitor center and the Zion Human History Museum, which both have neat exhibits. Virgin River runs through Zion. It's pretty shallow so you can take your kids right up to it. Some common animals in the area are mule deer, rock squirrels, pinyon jays, and whiptail and collared lizards. You may want to look into the Junior Ranger program, which has other activities for the kids to complete. Hope that helps!

Q:

It says the tour goes on Tues, Thurs & Sat we can only go on Thurs when do we let you know the day we are available. If there are changes the information should be updated since you charge a penalty for cancellations. Where is the information on no lunch. Helen B.

Helen G.  asked on  Jul 24, 2012

A:

Hi Helen, Here is the page of our website that explains this tour: http://lasvegastraveldesk.com/zion.html. The tour operates Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. After you purchase the Groupon, call us at 800-422-6966 and set up a reservation for whatever day you are available. I'd recommend doing this as soon as you can. The website explains our cancellation policy. Essentially, if you cancel outside of 48 hours, there is a $35 per person processing fee. If you cancel inside of 48 hours, there is no refund. We do not provide lunch with this tour, but you can bring a lunch on the bus or purchase something at the park. Thank you!

Q:

I would appreciate it if you could expand a little on what happens when we get to Zion: Does your tour take us through the park or are we dropped off somewhere where we are on our own and then meet the bus to go back? There was a mention of a shuttle in the park. If we are on our own and want to take the shuttle does the park charge a fee to ride it? Thanks.

Debra R.  asked on  Jul 21, 2012

A:

Hello, Upon arrival you will use the shuttle service to each view point. The driver guide will give you a time frame to meet back at the bus. There is no additional cost for the shuttle inside the park. Thanks!

Q:

How long is the bus ride to the park in the morning and what time does it departt to return to Vegas? It looks like the days were incorrect on the link, but you are stating the deal is ONLY available to be used on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday. Is that correct? What time will it depart from Caesar's Palace? Does it still include narration on the bus?

Andrea L.  asked on  Jul 20, 2012

A:

Hello, This tour is available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with pick-up at the Caesar's Palace at 6:25am. The driver guide will narrate on the bus. Thank you.

Q:

Since it doesn't include lunch like promoted on the link given on your website what other changes have been made to the tour? Is there an age limit? Is there a fuel surcharge? What time do they pick up from Paris hotel? Are the morning snacks and refreshments on the bus still included? It says here tours are Monday Wed Fri, on the site it says they are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Which is it? Do you have availability next week and if so could we use the vouchers then?

Danielle H.  asked on  Jul 20, 2012

A:

HI Danielle, The lunch is the only change. Everything else is inclusive with the Groupon so you do not have to pay extra fees. There is no age limit for the tour; just remember that everyone over the age of 2 must pay full price. We do pick up from the Paris Hotel. That's at 6:30 am in the tour lobby. Morning snack/refreshments on the bus are included with this tour. The Zion tour runs on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday as it states on both the Groupon deal and our website. We do have availability next week, and you can use your vouchers then. Just make sure to call us as soon as you can to book the reservation. Let us know if you have other questions! Thanks!

Does the price of $99 include all taxes and whatever other charges may apply? How large (max passengers) is the tour bus/van that would be used to take us on the tour?

Debra R.  asked on  Jul 20, 2012

A:

Hi Debra, The $99 price does include all taxes, fees, etc. The buses we use for this tour can take 12 to 14 passengers. Thank you!

Q:

It says you get a personal VIP travel pack. What is that and what does it contain? Are there any extra charges such as park entrance fees or fuel surcharges? If so how much are they?

Danielle H.  asked on  Jul 20, 2012

A:

Hi Danielle, The VIP travel pack is an insulated lunch bag that includes a bottle of water and some snacks. All fees are included so the Groupon is all you have to pay for. Thanks for the question!
