Q:

My family consists of two adults and a 16 year old, we would like to race together is that a possibility?

Barbara F.  asked on  Dec 4, 2012

A:

Sorry for the confusion. There are two tracks, one for adults and one for teens. You must be 18 or over to race on the adult track. You can race with your 16 yr old on the teen track.

Q:

Do teenagers ride on the regular tracks, or can they only race on the Brownstone track?

Karen S.  asked on  Dec 6, 2012

A:

Hi Karen
Adults can race on the Downtown and Uptown tracks, and teens race on the Brownstone track. Kids race on their own track.
(Racers on the Downtown & Uptown Tracks must be at least 16 years old and possess a valid driver’s permit to participate in any races. Driver’s under 18 years of age must present a signed color copy of the Parental Consent form, as well as a photocopy of their parent’s/guardian’s drivers license. If 18 or older you must have a valid government issued picture ID to prove your age.) I hope this helps!

Q:

Still not clear. I got different answer when I called Grand Prix. Child is 7 years old and about 50". I was told he has to ride on child's track and have adult with him to drive, but we didn't need adult ticket. Do both child and adult need a ticket? I'm confused. OR, Can he ride with adult on the adult track? If he can, I can understand both parent and child needing tickets. Thanks.
