At Grassroots Chef Services, we pride ourselves on giving our customers a great fine-dining meal in the comfort of their home at a fraction of what they would pay at any local restaurant.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Grassroots Chef Services was formed in 2008. The idea was to own a small catering business, but the demand ... forced us to expand our services to include personal chefs, institutional food service, home delivery, and restaurant consulting.
What do you love most about your job?
We at Grassroots Chef Services pride ourselves on using local farmers, purchasing only what's in season, and giving back to our community with fundraisers that support local charter schools. Charlotte is my home and I want to see the Queen City become a thriving foodie city.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
Because we are a small company, we receive most of our clients by word of mouth. That means we take customer service to a whole new level. We focus on the details! Anyone can make good food, but at Grassroots Chef Services, we make great experiences along with fantastic food!
