Q:

hi, do i need to purchase a groupon for my infant son who is 1 years old and is it safe for him to enjoy the sail?

Rick K.  asked on  Apr 25, 2013

A:

Hey Rick Infants 4 and under are just $2.95 so no I would not recommend buying a groupon for him. You can purchase the infant ticket when you make your reservations direct from www.tallshipcruisestoronto.com

A:

It is absolutely safe. We take hundreds of infants a season on Kajama.

Q:

I wish to take myself which I will buy groupon and a 8 year old and 10 year old. Do I buy separate groupons for them or do you buy them when you arrive at the tall ship. Isn't their rate cheaper than the full groupon rate. Please advise Thanks Denise

Denise C.  asked on  Apr 25, 2013

A:

If you buy 3 groupon tickets today if will be cheaper for you than buying 1 for yourself and 2 separate tickets for the children. Children's prices after tax comes to $13.50 so you will save $1.50 per child buying the groupon ticket.

Q:

I would like to know if you would do a group rate for 48 people for June 7th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (40 kids aged 6to12) AND 8 ADULT Chaperones. thanks Seema

seema b.  asked on  Apr 24, 2013

A:

yes group rates are listed on our web site www.tallshipcruisestoronto.com

Damian G.  from  Merchant  replied on  Apr 24, 2013

A:

If you would like more info on a private booking please get in touch info@greatlakesschooner.com. The groupon deal is still cheaper than a group rate booking. Due to it being heavily discounted we wouldn't be able to discount it further.

Q:

Where does one go on the ship if it rains? Are the stairs easy to go down for an elderly person to get to the washroom?

Donna H.  asked on  Apr 24, 2013

A:

Hey Donna We do have canopies that cover the deck in the event of rain. Or there is below deck to the dining room. We do have lots of crew members on board to assist anyone having difficulty going down the stairs. There are railings to hold on to and the steps are not too steep.
