Q:

1. On your website it says Infant (child under 5) is $2.95; is this still the case as I have a 4 and 5 year old. Would I have to purchase a $12 ticket for my 5 year old? 2. Are there any "black out" dates? 3. Do I book online when I purchase my Groupon?

Ria  asked on  Apr 23, 2013

A:

Hey Ria Infants 4 and under are $2.95 which you can purchase when you make your reservation, Children 5 and up are regularly $13.50 after tax so it would be cheaper to buy the groupon deal. There are no blocked out dates, but obviously certain dates are more popular than others and so sell out faster. We do have a lot of space to accommodate guests throughout the season though. You can make your reservation online when ever you please. It does need to be made online and and can be changed for a $5 fee if you need to at a later date. Enjoy your sail.

Q:

Where do I make the reservations for this? Is it valid for weekend evening sails? And how far in advance do I need to book to redeem these coupons?? Ex. would I be able to make it the same day??

Linda S.  asked on  Apr 23, 2013

A:

Hey Linda You make the reservations at www.tallshipcruisestoronto.com. We only book weekend evening sails during July and August and only set the dates 2 weeks prior. The cruises are on a first come first served basis but we do have lots of availability. It is possibility to make the reservation the same day if there is availability.

Q:

We have a group of 10 adults going this Suday. How do we book this online? Do we buy the groupon first then book?

dom  asked on  Apr 23, 2013

A:

Hey Dom We start sailing May 4th which is next Saturday. You can make the reservations online at www.tallshipcruisestoronto.com. You need to make separate reservations for each guest attending. You need to buy the Groupon first then make your reservation once you have your redemption code.

Q:

I bought these last year and when I went to use them, they sent us out on a totally different boat that chugged (not sailed) around the harbour and back to the dock. It was super boring. Will this happen again this year?

Simon C.  asked on  Apr 23, 2013

A:

Dear Simon In the event of a private cruise being booked we do operate Challenge, our smaller tall ship. This information is always available prior to your cruise and is printed on your ticket when you book. This only happened on a hand full of days and we use Challenge so we are offering an alternative for guests so we don't cancel altogether. We will always move you to another date if Kajama is privately booked. Sorry you didn't enjoy the experience last year.

Damian G.  from  Merchant  replied on  Apr 23, 2013

A:

Challenge our smaller vessel is a sail boat. I'm not sure if you are confused with a different company but we definitely only operate sail boats on our public tours. Hope this helps
