Great Play is many things: lessons that help kids develop early motor skills into complex sport-playing abilities; a curriculum based on the latest research; and a technologically advanced play area known as the Interactive Arena. Mostly, though, it's just fun. Instructors coax confidence and athleticism from every child by introducing them—and parents, of course—to developmentally appropriate games and exercises. For the youngest kids, instructors focus on simple motor skills and sports skills such as hand-eye coordination, lessons dressed up as fun games such as balloon paddle. And in turn, games like that lay the foundation for learning a tennis or baseball swing later in life, during the stage when sports become fun and the world starts throwing baseballs at you regularly.
